Meet Our Coaches

Yusuf Choudri

Yusuf Choudri

Co-President || Co-Founder

Hi, I’m Yusuf. I’m a rising senior at the Collegiate School in NYC, and last year, Harry and I founded Hamptons Sports Coaching. I started playing squash almost three years ago. Even though my school doesn't have a team, I play consistently as part of the advanced Red Team at Open Squash in Manhattan. I've competed in many tournaments and earned second place in one of our club championship tournaments earlier this year. Recently, I volunteered at Open Squash’s junior summer camp as a mentor. This experience was incredibly rewarding as I had the opportunity to teach squash to younger students and share my passion for the sport. Working with experienced professionals at the camp, I learned a lot about effective coaching techniques and how to communicate and motivate players of different skill levels. I helped to organize practice sessions, develop training drills, and provided one-on-one feedback to help the young players improve their game. This hands-on experience not only enhanced my coaching skills but also reinforced my commitment to fostering a supportive and encouraging environment for aspiring athletes.

Timin Jain

Timin Jain

Head of Football || Head of Weight Training

My name is Timin Jain and I’m going to be a senior next year at Fieldston. I have been playing football all my life, starting with recreational flag football at a young age. Over the years I have pursued my passion of football more and more. I have been lucky enough to learn from many coaches and players who have played or currently do play at extremely high levels. I have been training at a program called About U for nearly 5 years, I played for the Harlem Jets for 2 years and have been playing for my school for all of my high school career. The program that I play at now, About U, has many younger members who I have helped coach throughout the years. I also have coached at the Harlem Jets for the past year, my goal being to spark the same passion for the sport in my students that has led me all this way.

Harry Schaffer

Harry Schaffer

Co-President || Co-Founder || Head of Tennis || Head of Soccer

My name is Harry Schaffer and I am a rising senior at the New York Collegiate School. I’ve been playing soccer since I was 4 years old and have competed on travel teams such as Soccer Stars United and Chelsea Piers. I've been on the Collegiate Varsity Soccer Team since my sophomore year and am looking forward to my captainship next year. I’ve also been on the Collegiate Varsity Tennis Team since my freshman year and have competed in various UTR and USTA tournaments around the state. For the past few summers, I’ve been coaching tennis to kids from ages 5-16 and nothing has given me more joy than to watch them improve with smiles on their faces. I always strive to teach my students something new in every lesson, aiming to ignite in them the same passion for the sports that inspired me.

Henry D'Albert

Henry D'Albert

Head of Basketball

From playing basketball in the streets of New York as a kid to playing at the highest levels of AAU and high school, basketball has taught me so much more than just the sport itself. My name is Henry D’Albert, and I am an upcoming senior at the Packer Collegiate Institute. I’ve played basketball on multiple AAU programs along with being the captain of Junior Varsity basketball my freshman year and continuing on Varsity ever since. In my many years of experience, teaching basketball comes with teaching students how to handle mistakes, grit, and discipline. There is no better reward than letting the hard work you put in show itself. For my students, it is essential to progress in skill every lesson but also to recognize our goal of linear growth. Everybody learns at their own pace; in other words, it is completely acceptable to take however many lessons one may need to nail down a skill. Sessions will include on-ball workouts and conditioning, pushing the student to the best of their abilities. This program not only teaches fundamentals of basketball, but teaches the student to push outside of their comfort zone and how results are made from grit and hard work.
